neoscene and premier cs4 at DVinfo.net

i installed neoscene to optimise and hdv workflow in cs4 and noticed that the performance was not really up to scratch. Playback was not smooth at all. Reading through the forums, i can see reference to this issue, with some references being made that Adobe doesnt support VFW in CS4 which is why the playback is having issues.

My question is, is there any hope that this issue is going to be resolved (or is it already resolved?) or is there some other solutions.
