EX1 CFHD- Will Not Import Audio into CS4
Hopefully this is just a beta problem, but EX1 sourced clips converted to CFHD.avi, either with HDLink v 3.x (on another system) or v 4.0 (on the CS4 system), will not play the audio track in Premiere CS4. Instead of the proper audio, I'm getting only the first bit of sound on the clip looped over and over for the duration of the clip. The video track plays normally. I also notice that when the CF clip is brought into Premiere CS4, it does not process a peak file. These CF clips play perfectly in other players like WMP, so it is clearly a CF/CS4 problem that only seems to effect EX1 sourced footage.
Any other source (AVCHD, etc.) processes normally in HDLink 4.0, plays in WMP, imports to the same CS4 timeline, generates a peak file, and plays perfectly. This makes no sense to me. I would think that once a clip becomes a CF.avi they would all be the same, but something is hinky with the EX1 mp4 sourced conversions.
