Cineform Graphic Opitimization
First of all I've just upgraded to my new PC from my duel AMD64. (just use this now for audio and internet acccess).
As I am involved more and more in HD shooting and really enjoy working with the Cineform products. (cant wait for the Cs4 version so I can really try out my beast). Ok. Just built a i7 920, 12gig DDr3 running at 1600mhz. My graphics card is a Quadro NVS500 and I also bought two ASUS H243h monitors along with a 32" Samsung LCD HDTV to monitor with. All signals via hdmi. Running at 1920 x 1080. There are so many things available on my grapics card to set up and on my HD monitors and I would kindly ask that you just look through my settings to see if they are correct. Video colour settings. Full (0-255) Should I add Dynamic Contrast enhancment or will that just colour my monitoring images? Should I use inverse telecline? need to read up on telicline as I dont really know what it is. :-) My colour format is now set at YCbCr44. (dont know what this is either) Am I correct in selecting this over RGB for truer monitoring. Thanks for your time and any tips you can give are appreciated. There is so much to learn regarding colour spaces and ratios. A great thing for your new website would be FAQ of all newbies questions regarding colouring, ratios etc and standard graphic card setups. To some of you guys it all rolls of the end of your tongues without a problem. For a newbie getting into this stuff it does come across rather complicated. :)
