Prospect 4k worth it if you have the canon hv20?
Hello,
I have Prospect HD. What are the advantages of CineForm RAW Encoding if you upgrade to Prospect 4k? I only have the hv20 camcorder. I use PPCS3 and AECS3. My desktop is a quad core with 4gb of ram. Simon Zimmer |

No advantage for HV20, you need a RAW camera or source, Red, SI-2K, Arri D21, Dalsa, and a large range of industrial cameras. If you do a lot of composite and effects, the 4:4:4:(4) encoding options can be helpful, but not RAW.
