Skippy Video In timeline - Is Cntl + Spacebar a real solution?

I have been struggling with this problem for sometime.

When I play back Cineform Aspect files in P-Pro CS3 using the space bar the clips will skip. Just like a record... over and over the same frame at different locations. I can manually scrub through with no problem I can also export to vairious formats with no problems. When I use Cntl + Space bar I do not have the problem. However, I read online that Cntl + Space bar does not play back at the full frame rate.

My video if 24f from a Canon XL H1 captured via Aspect.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

If is one particular frame or clip it could be bad. Please send the offending clip to support. This is a support question.

David,

This is not the first time or first clip that this has ever happened too. This happened on my last HD project using Aspect HD files. Again, no issues with exported video. I can scrub through the video using the scrub options. When I use the space bar play back it skips.

What does the cntl + space bar do? It plays smoothly using this.

I can send you the clip. However, wouldn't it make more sense to send you the project? That is going to be a huge file.

Tim

You have to work with support on these sort of things, they are machine specific.
