transfering Cineform files from Premiere PC to Final Cut on Mac
I just finished editing a long feature with Premiere CS3 and AspectHd v5, now I'd like to send it over to my colorist for correction on Color.
How to proceed? My colorist is open to buy "Neo HD" and “Rewrap CineForm AVI files originating on Windows to MOV files for better efficiency on Mac (the compression layer is undisturbed)”, but we remain unsure that "Neo HD" would actually work in "Color"... He also suggested that I convert my files to DPX files and he could use that in "Color". Any suggestions & answer would be appreciated. Thank you. |

Color doesn't work with any third party codecs or formats. So color is not a good choice unless you go out to DPX.
