Can Not activate > What is Hardware Fingerprint? IS this same as Syscode?
I am attempting to Activate Cineform Prospect HD on VISTA 64bit with Build 193.
I previously had PROSPECT HD installed on a sperate partition with XP32bit with build 192. I deactivated that succesfully but re-activating on VISTA 64 is not going well. When i click; Programs/Cineform/Activate; The activate window reads; ------------------------------- Enter the registration name and key below exactly as given to you. Hardware fingerprint: 584A-7FEC Name: KEY: ------------------------- When i go to the CINEFORM ACTIVATION PAGE on your website it asks for (1) User Name* (2) Email Address (double-check for accuracy)* (3) Serial Number (Example: PHD30-02300E0F00)* . (4) Windows System Code or Mac Challenge Code (see below if questions)* ------------------------ I have all the information but all returned emails say that my System Code is inccorect. I have tried my old system code, thats not working iether. Is Hardware Fingerprint not the same as system code? This is confusing. please help?

This a question for support, as it seems like you are do every thing correctly. Unfortunately no end user can help, so it is not for the forum, I would even need to refer to support on this one.
email support@cineform.com or file a ticket at CineForm Support

The activation Window in VISTA 64 is definitly differnt than the Window in XP pro.
XP actually shows a "System code". Vista shows "hardware fingerprint"

Solved... ( delay on reactivating? )
The Problem has be solved... I tried activation page again this morning (after 8 hours) and it worked... I guess you guys have some delay on re-activating that you don't make a note of??? I tried to activate 5 times last night in a row, continuously getting a response email back that my system code was incorrect. -- but it only worked the next morning... Maybe you should let people know of this delay in re-activating. ( or did i miss something?)
And to answer my own question - Yes, Hardware fingerprint (in Vista64) is the same as Systemcode (on XP) . Tyson
