.Mov, Prospect HD, Vista x64 and Premiere CS4. at DVinfo.net

I've had no luck encoding cineform .avis with Premiere CS4 on Vista x64, it only renders parts of the video and playback slows and speeds up and often freezes.

However, I've had great results exporting cineform .mov files, playback is smooth as, but I when I try to playback in Premiere it's all grayed out. I have no problems bringing it in Sony Vegas 8.

Okay, I realize CS4 is not quite supported yet but is there a way around playing back cineform .movs in Premiere CS4 for now?

Appreciate any help I can get.

By the way, DON'T do any CS 4.0.1 updates, you will find that 9 of 10 .mov files will not complete renders. I'd advice creating restore points if you decide to do so.
