Canon HF11 Files - Crashing HD Link
I was wondering why the M2TS files from the Canon HF11 are crashing HD Link ?
I have converted other files that were from a Sony camera which worked. |

I've convert HF11 files fine, you likely have a missing AVC component. Please file a trouble ticket at CineForm Support.

Sorry about that. I uninstalled AVC as I had some issues with play back with the 'Image Mixer' that came with the camera. Thank you ! |

Rob can I ask you how you have your computer setup? I also have a hf11 camera and am trying to use HDlink in windows to convert my files but I've never managed to get it working.
I have coreavc pro installed and haali media splitter. In coreAVC's configuration I make sure that it is set to be the preferred codec. When I run hdlink I get 2 errors: m_mediaControl->...... (unspecified error) m_convertGraph.Startgraph..... (Unspecified error) Can you tell me what version of coreAVC you are running and if you did anything special in coreAVC's configuration page. Much appreciated, Brian |

Sorry only just saw your post.

It seems that hdlink has a problem creating mov files and that's why I was getting those errors posted above. I have tried it on two different computers and get the same errors each time.

Yes I have Quicktime player installed, but not quicktime pro. It's the latest version too.
