SI-2K, Cineform & Canopus Edius
Does Cineform work with Canopus Edius ?
Have got a potential commercial shoot with the SI-2K - will the RAW footage be able to be edited in Edius (the producers edit system), will the look files work or will it have to be flattened out to a standard AVI? Any workflow suggestions welcome. thanks Rohan |

I happen to have the Edius 5 demo installed, and it does seem to work fine with Cineform avi files. Obviously it just treats them as any other avi and you don't get any Cineform effects, but (after a quick play around) I'd certainly give it a try. Edius doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it has always been good at coping with anything you throw at it. It's pretty good for fast simple editing.
