Aspect HD Question Mixing Footage

I have a Canon XH-A1 I would like to shoot footage in 24f mode, and use my HV20 as a second cam in PF24 mode. Can the footage be used in the same project on the same timeline? Or what would you suggest to solve this problem?

Thank you.

Steve

You can mix almost anything, these two camera and very else to handle. When capturing the HV20 have the pulldown remove enabled (leave it off for the XH-A1.) Now you have 24p sources from both cameras.

Steve, HD Link (which is intalled with Aspect HD) easily supports both 24p formats of the XL A1 and HV20. Once converted with HD Link the media from both cameras is a 23.976p CineForm AVI file. See this Tech Note for the camera-specific settings to use within HD Link: HDLink Capture Settings.

Thank you for the quick response. I am going to buy the Aspect HD this evening when I get back home. If I purchase it tonight, will I be able to get the upgrade for CS4 when it arrives or would I have to purchase it again?

Thanks,

Steve

Purchases near release date are grand fathered in. Normally it is a 90 day window.
