Aspect Ratio in Media Player
Okay, I know this has to be simple. I transferred my NeoHDV from an XP system to my new Vista System. Thus far, capturing is working, Vegas 8 is working, and Premiere Pro 2 seems to be working fine.
However, when playing back Cinefrom codec files, the aspect ratio on Windows Media Player is play at 1440 x 1080, with a "square aspect". This was not an issue on the XP machine. What is the obvious I am missing.

Media Player on Vista is broken. Use Media Player Classic.

VLC doesn't play any DShow, VFW or QuickTime codec that don't have a public domain implementation.
