DPX2CF - difficulty converting files
David,
I am attempting to convert 4096x2304 DPX files to CFHDAVI files using DPX2CF on my computer which had Prospect 4K installed. I have moved the DPX2CF.exe utility from its installed location into my C:\Windows\System32 directory. From the directory where the my DPX files are located, I type: dpx2cf s:\red\dpx\Test 1[1].4096x2304\ 014711.dpx s:\output\014711.avi f=24. to which I get the following: "'dpx2cf' is not recognized as an internal or external command..." I'm certain I am engaged in some form of idiocy but any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Also if I am able to get this to convert, how do I batch convert a folder full of DPX files? Many thanks... |

Somehow your execute path is weird.
From a DOS Prompt type set path This will show where your system looks for executables (and C:\WINDOWS\system32 should be listed.) dpx2cf Alone this should tell you some usage info. Note: Never have spaces in paths and filename or you will be in for a headache. To deal with spaces in paths you will have to add quotes like this dpx2cf "s:\red\dpx\Test 1[1].4096x2304\*.dpx" s:\output\Test1[1].avi f=24 the 014711 was replaces with '*', a wild card to convert all the DPXs in that path to a single AVI.
