XL-H1 24f footage into 24p Vegas timeline
I just taped a 3 camera shooting. 1 camera was a XL-H1 shooting in 24f in SD (by mistake). If I capture with Neo HDV directly into an avi file, that should work fine in a 24p timeline in Vegas (with 24p footage from a Sony v1u), correct? Now, can HD-Link "up-rez" the SD footage to more closely match the v1u's HDV footage? Also, can I use my Canon HV20 for capturing the XL-H1 tape into HD-Link?

HV20 can be used to transfer H1 footage. As for the up-res HDLink is pretty good at it, but I haven't compared it with how Vegas does.

That's what I hoped on all accounts. I'll try up-rezzing a clip with both Vegas and Cineform and get a comparison. Either way seems like it'll do what I'm looking for, or at least get close. Thanks much David.
