Capturing from Decklink HD Extreme
OK, capturing from Decklink HD EXtreme card via HDlink into CFHD.
Audio issue: - when the card is configured for HDMI Video + HDMI Audio, vid and audio are in-sync and fine. - when the card is configured for HDMI Video + Analog XLR Audio, the audio precedes video by at least 1.5 seconds right from the get-go! No sync at all. CPU utilization seems the same in both cases. What's wrong? David Taylor said Decklink HD Extreme card is supported. The whole idea of getting that card was to obtain a high-quality audio from mixer, feed it into the card via analog In, and have it sync'd on capture. Does not seem to happen with CFHD. (Recording the same way via MediaExpress into MJPEG codec gives 100% sync, no issues...) Ideas?... |

Doesn't seem like our bug as we capture the audio we are presented with the timestamps we are presented with (audio is delivered to us through the same pix whether from HDMI or XLR.) Try different Blackmagic drivers, as we see large changes from version to version.
