Prospect HD and Blackmagic cards?
I'm currently doing ingest with BM Intensity and Aspect HD, under Win XP.
Aspect removes 2:3 cadence on-the-fly and records 24p avi live from HDMI input. Beautiful. This is the functionality I'd like to preserve. 1. If I upgrade to Prospect HD/2K, will it do the same thing? 2. If I keep Aspect but upgrade to Intensity Pro (analog inputs), or Decklink HD, or Multibridge - are these supported? 3. Is Prospect HD/2K configured to ingest from the same cards as in # 2 above? Thanks. |

Alex, HD Link, which ships with all CineForm products, supports the same card set with the same CineForm pre-processing features (such as telecine removal). The only difference will be the spatial resolution recorded which is a function of the CineForm encoder license.

Sorry if I missed it, but Cineform website does not specify exactly which card models are supported.
Does it mean that *any* Blackmagic card, HDMI or SDI, is supported? |
