DPX2CF conversion problems
Hi David
Firstly I have NO progamming skills whatsoever so please bear with me. I am starting to get cold feet waiting for RED to release their SDK as I cannot succesfully test my workflow with Prospect/Premiere. I exported dpx files out of RedCine and my problem comes when trying to convert to cfhd files using the dpx2cf conversion tool that shipped with my Aspect HD. I want to batch convert a folder of dpx's. I followed the tech notes but still cannot get a conversion to take place. Nothing happens. http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.p...dgxgyc&thumb=6 |

DPX2CF assumes you have already scaled the DPX files to match your CineForm encoding license. DPX2CF is primarily for our 2K and 4K products, also as they are the only products to support 4:4:4. If you have DPX files 1440x1080 or smaller, the conversion should work fine. You might better off, downloading a trial on Prospect 2K or 4K.
