Cineform,
Are plans in the works to to allow the upcoming RED Scarlet 3K REDCODE raw to be converted to Cineform NEO HD (1920x1080)?

I'm sure this update will be wanted by many.

I believe the RED 3K rez is 3072x1728 (or maybe 3072x1536?)

No rush there yet. The product is sceduled for 2009.

Thanks David. I guess my wording was incorrect. I'm just wondering if this could become a reality once Scarlet arrives.

Also, the current specs are showing SDI and HDMI out on Scarlet. Maybe the future Cineform recorders will make a great solution for capturing 1080P for long events. Hey, I can dream!

All conversions from any RAW files from any future RED camera will be handled by a tool that Cineform have released but have been asked to put on hold till the SDK from RED is released.
