clarification on alpha channels support
To confirm, Aspect and Prospect do not support video containing alpha masks/channels? Is that not support as in have to render it in premiere or simply incompatible?
But , Aspect and Prospect do support STILLS with alpha channel, as in title overlays. Could one not use a TGA sequence in that case? Thankyou |

They both support decoding video with alpha channels, but only Prospect 2K/4K support encoding alpha channels.

It seems like you are never used our products. Please download them, they are free to try for 15-days. TGA, PS, PNG etc, are real-time as stills in all our products, but is you want to convert a TGA sequence to a CineForm with alpha channel you need Prospect 2K or 4K. Alpha channel encoding into a visually lossless code is very rare, so we reserve this feature for our highend 4:4:4 tools.
