Cineform vs Mainconcept MPEG PRO HD3
Just wondering how these two products compare? What main advantages does Cineform offer in Premiere..
Working with HDV only. Thank you |

They are so completely different solutions, you would rarely seem them mentioned in the same sentence. CineForm is a digital intermediate, converting you source MPEG data into a more editable form that works better with a larger range of tools (inside and outside of Premiere.) If think the MC plugin is still a native MPEG editor, but I don't know what it advantage are over the stock features of Premiere with also supports native MPEG. Both should offer trials -- CineForm tools have fully featured 15-day trial.
