Neo HDV image size at DVinfo.net

I am downloading my Canon XH AI Set to HDV 30f thru HD Link and the resulting AVI size is 720X486 is this correct?

No, that's SD. The A1 is definitely capable of 1080i - which is 1440x1080. Check your settings in your camera to make sure downconvert is turned off, and also that your HDLink settings are not set to resize under preferences, as that is an option.
