Panasonic AG-HPX500 P2 Footage
David:
If I have raw P2 footage from a Panasonic AG-HPX500 delivered to me on a hard drive, will I be able to convert the footage to Cineform AVI following the same workflow as you have on the Cineform website for the HVX? Am I correct in the assumption that since both are P2 format cameras, the files are the same and therefore the HD Link conversion is the same?

Yes, that is correct. HDLink will convert that media. P2 Viewer installion is required.

Thanks David. It worked just fine. Nice relatively easy way to deal with DVCPRO HD footage in the PC environment. Now easy to use in both PPro and AE no hassle as always.
