Cineform RAW encoding requirements
Hi,
Had a cursory look around but have't been able to pin down any real numbers. I believe cineform RAW (for an HD sized frame at 24fps) is around 12MB/second? What CPU is needed to sustain that? Does it require any graphics hardware? Many thanks in advance paul |

For CineForm RAW alone, a single core of 2.33Ghz Core 2 Duo will do to (using both cores you will running between 40-50 fps.) The SI-2K uses a 2.33Ghz Core 2 Duo mobile for doing 2K @ 24p, but it is also doing some preprocessing (like fixed pattern nose removal.) No GPU is used by the CineForm RAW encoding engine.
