Aspect should cover most of what you need since your sources and outputs are 1440x1080. The 10bit and 1920width of ProspectHD could improve picture quality slightly, but only if you use lots of post effects and such. There will be not percievable difference for basic editing, if going to Blu-Ray.

If you are an Adobe CS3 (Windows) user, then Aspect HD or Prospect HD / 2K are the right products for you.

If you are a Final Cut Pro user, then Neo 4K / HD / HDV are the right products for you.

For all other Windows and Mac OS X applications, CineForm's Neo 4K / HD / HDV family is for you.

It all depends on your budget too, and your upgrade plans for the future. Maybe you can start with prospect hd, and in the future expand to prospect 4K.

In my opinion Prospect is a much complete solution. Has all the flexibility of Neo, plus realtime engine for editing.

Thanks for the help?

Buget is really not an issue since I purchased the V3HD from Motu.
Had to return it to BH because they do not have the drivers that work with Windows environment at this time. But they advertise as it works on a Windows box. So I will not get any issue in editing with Cineform I could capture and edit with out lagging issue in my time line you are saying.

Fred, with the acknowledgement that I have a conflict of interest as I am with CineForm, I think either Aspect HD or Prospect HD will provide a great workflow for you. If you also use Vegas on the same machine, Vegas can also use the CineForm software.

The difference for you between Aspect HD and Prospect HD is 8 bit and 1440 horizontal resolution (AHD) versus 10 bit and 1920 horizontal resolution (PHD). Prospect also supports HD-SDI cards for timeline monitoring and ingest if that might be interesting to you in the future.

See here for a visual demonstration of 8-bit versus 10-bit I/O precision when pushing your images in post: http://www.cineform.com/products/ProspectHDUpgrade.htm.
