Neo HD Demo Problems Capturing
I think the title says it all. tried this software out on 2 different machines, one on vista 64, the other xp pro. Got the software (sort of) working on the vista 64 after getting repeat "this program has stopped working errors" but getting wierd errors now when I click the capture button. Using a Sony A1U camera with firewire. Tried 2 different firewire cables as well. Called Cineform support yesterday but still no callback.
Getting exact same error with the xp machine. Wierd thing is that I can play, ff, rew, etc from HD link on both machines, but as soon as i click capture I get the same error message. Screen shot attached. Any idea what the problem is? I looked in the cineform website support and tried re registering all the .ax files but still no luck. |

Likely means you camera is putting out DV not HDV. Some cameras have a downconvert mode that confuses capture. It that is not the case file a trouble ticket with www.cineform.com/support. This seems like an easy one.
