Forgetting to de-activate
I installed my secondary license on my laptop and it worked great, but I was having other PC problems so I decided to reformat.... unfortunately I neglected to follow the proper instructions on de-activating first.
I tried to find steps on the Cineform website but I'm beginning to think I may need to file a support ticket to get this resolved. Is that correct? |

Yes. I've done this a few times. Just send them a ticket and they'll reset the registration for you. Luckily all the software runs for a 30-day trial unregistered and you'll certainly get it cleared up within that time so you can continue your workflow uninterrupted.

Aside from the trial period being 15 days, Ben's right. Best to get it sorted quickly though because you'd be surprised how quickly those 15 days whizz by.

Craig, hopefully after your reformat you're running in Trial mode ok. We need to be in the office to affect activation changes/updates because our server is behind our Firewall. Hopefully you can wait until Wednesday.
