capturing footage in HD link and then reexporting
if i capture footage in the cineform codec in HD link. bring it into after effects, export it as cineform. then back to premiere, and i loosing quality?

CineForm has almost no generational loss. The reason is that we have lots of "headroom" in our compression which you don't have in heavily compressed formats. So at a theoretical level there is yes there is loss when you render, but using CineForm the loss is dramatically lower than virtually any other codec.
