new M2T export quality
hi,
i have tested the new encoder that comes with Aspect HD 5.2 to produce a M2T file from Premiere CS3. (sometimes it crash, a case is opened). i'm wondering if we get the same quality of encoding that the previous method that was to install Premiere 1.5 (just to have the license) and export to Premiere CS3. it seems that the quality of the MPEG file produced was better before than that new version. in the new encoder, we can't set the quality. does anyboy has tested ? We're looking into this now and haven't been able to reproduce it yet. Can you guys include your project settings in the support tickets?
Thanks! |

Since I went through this route last time, it seems like sending you my project is the only way to really try to see if we can find root cause.

Hello All,
In regards to quality, we are using the Tsunami MPEG encoder, which is highly regarded for its quality. What kinds of differences are you seeing between the old encoder and the new one? I'm working with Jake on your tickets to figure out your individual instability problems.
