Neo upgrades?
I am planning on getting neo hd (I want the 10bit support) after the holidays when money is a bit more free, but in the meanwhile I was looking for a lower price alternative for pulldown removal in the HV20, HG10 and while I don't think its needed the XHA1 and read about the NeoHDV upgrade to Neo HD, I am just chekcing is it definate that if I get NeoHDV now I can upgrade after the holidays to NeoHD for only 299.? or is this an offer to those that had previously purchased it? I would rather spend the money now on Neohdv rather than the alternatives whoch are 150.00 only to spend the 599 later on neohd, but would spend the 250 now if I could make the upgrade from it the 10bit later.
So if I buy NeoHDV this week at the 250.00 price, will I be eligible for the upgrade to full NeoHD after the holidays at the price of an additional 299 even if its not a second license but rather a swap/upgrade from one to another? Hope that all makes sense. Chris |

Also I am planning on using this with Sony Vegas 8
So if anyone knows if it works with the HG10 24P which is acvhd instead of the hdv like the hv20, and if its needed in vegas to edit 24f footage from the xha1 which I do not think it is, assuming it will never be rendered and re- rendered from the mt2 file. |

If you purchase NEO HDV now for $249, you can upgrade to any other package for the retail price difference. So that would be a $350 dollar upgrade.
