Cineform and Virtualdub timeline playback problem
Presently with AspectHD 5.1, I can load CFHD-codec avi files happily into Virtualdub and can manually scrub the timeline no problem. I can also apply filters and render out to a new file no problem. BUT ... when I hit the realtime playback button, the image becomes monochrome and distorted (or if I enable overlay it becomes green, pink and inverted!).
I've had this problem intermittently in the past, on other machines, depending on what order I install applications. Does anyone have any potential quick fixes (i.e. quicker than a full reinstall) that they can suggest? Thanks. |

VirtualDub has a bug where it asks us for RGB24 but display it as if we gave them RGB32. We support RGB32 (what Vegas uses) yet VirtualDub doesn't seem to correctly ask for it. Using play output, not play input, often gets around this issue.
