HD Link hangs during re-wrap
Not sure what's going on here, as this has just crept in:
I rendered out some cineform avi's from AE CS3 to import into Premiere Pro CS3. As has been talked about on this board, PPCS3 brought them in short, I'm not sure why. Last time this happened I re-wrapped in quicktime PPCS3 brought the footage in full length. So, tried again, HD Link hangs. Rebooted, HD Link hangs. Re-installed, HD Link hangs. When I try to render Cineform QT out of AE I get the following error: After Effects error: compressing frame of movie -- missing Quicktime codec (-8961). (44 :: 39) Ack! Help? thanks, jt |

Looks like you don't have 7.x QuickTime installed.

I do have it installed, but it seems there has been a nagging buffer overrun problem in XP with my particular DirectX9 settings causing QT to error out all the time - I think I've got it under control now.
