Anyone else notice oddities in PPRO CS3 Beta that are now fixed?
Created Cineform 1080i 25fps project, import footage (1080 50i), add to timeline.
In CS3 Beta, Opacity handles didn't work. ...also using Magic Bullet Colorista magically deinterlaced my footage! - glad to say both seem to be fixed in the proper version of CS3. |

I would not consider finding bugs in any new program unusual. CS3 integrates about 10 of its very popular programs and has second party type stuff too like CineForm. Probably in excess of a billion lines of code. If there were no errors, I'd think they were written by "Space Aliens." :)
Mike P.S. Wondering why you posted this in the CineForm forum? M

Judging by the fact that Adobe didn't release ANY updates for PPRO 2, it sounds like they thought they were as good as Space Aliens.
I'm still getting crashes at alarming rates when rendering in PPRO CS3 - but I think they can all be put down to 3rd party plug-ins... and when you raise problem tickets any probllem solving just collapses into finger pointing. EDIT - posted this here, cos everything I do is with Cineform Aspect HD. As Cineform users are usually power users, their input (and Cineform's input) is much more valuable than that of the more general forums... |
