Frame mode and editing
Maybe Chris can answer this, or anyone using DVStorm to edit with.
Are there any anomolies or problems with editing footage shot in Frame Mode on DVStorm in your experience? |

There are no problems with editing Frame Mode video with any DV editing software including the Canopus DVStorm. Frame Mode is *recorded to tape* in normal interlace fashion just like regular Movie Mode video is... your NLE software can't tell the difference.

I wish Final Cut Pro could tell the difference. It still does dissolves and wipes, etc at 60 fields per second, and it looks out of place with my 30 frames per second footage.

Good point, Joe; that's the "gotcha" of editing Frame Movie video.
