capturing and playback
For playback and capture I use a JVC GR-DV3000. Using Fuji mini DVtapes. Sometimes Sony tapes give problems in the JVC camera.

I am playing back on a agDV1000. Bought it in '02. Great choice of controls. Very flexable. I probably will get one just like it, (if available), when I step up to HD next year.

I play back on a Canon ZR100. Its not too bad. Wish I had a deck though!

I have used the AG DV2000P Panasonic deck for 6 years and it accepts mini and full size DV tapes. Its firewire port recently went out though so until its fixed I have to import with my XL-1.

I use the Sony Dsr-11 as capture deck and a pass thru my Sony broadcast monitor.
