XL-1s audio Hiss
1.) Has anyone experienced an audio hiss on playback from the XL-1s. I've heard about it but have no hard facts.
2.) I have an XL-1 and am considering the XL-1s but not if it has a hiss I would like to hear from anybody with an XL-1s, likes .. dislikes and best U.S. warranty price and where you got it. Thanks |

Bruce,
I don't get a hiss from mine and the XL1 is known for having a reasonably clean audio circuitry. But I know how to make it hiss <g>. Can you provide some particulars on your audio setup (mic, channels, etc.)? Perhaps we can help more. BTW I, and probably others, missed your Q here since this area is generally used for gab about projects rather than camera matters.

Sorry Ken,
I don't have a his on my XL-1. I am interested in getting an XL-1s but there were some posts on the net that said there was a hiss on play back with the new XL-1s so I figured I ask and see if anyone was having that problem. Thanks |

audio hiss
I have been using my xl1 for alot of broadcasting videos and I have had feedback from producers saying they hear alot of hiss. Its most noticeable when I use my shotgun microphone (senhauser) not as bad with my lavaliers.
