XL1/XL1s
Hi all,I have an XL1 from 1998 and now I'm cosidering to buy an XL1s.I have some questions:the response of autofocus is more fast in XL1s?and there's an improvement in the image quality?I live in Pal/Euro land and this is the price:XL1s=3416Euro;FU1000=2172Euro;3x=1176Euro.What do you think about the prices?
Thanks in advance,Maurizio. |

Hello Maurizio,
If you've not already done so take a look at our "XL1S Skinny" page. It may answer some of your questions.

There are a number of improvements of XL-1 to the S. Most of the faults were cured.
Still, a number of people have not upgraded to the S staying with the old 1. Why? Simply put the old XL-1 still a very good cam and money that could be used for the upgrade are used to buy lenses like the 14X or 16X manual lenses.
