Interval menu in pink?
Hi guys....Well this is my first post on this forum after lurking for a month or so.
So a BIG HELLO to one and all.... Ok then, I have a small issue which is probably easy to solve but I'm struggling with....My XL1S menu is pink(unavailable) when I try to set up the interval/timelapse function. Does the camera need to be in a certain mode/setting for this to be set up? Can anyone shed a little light on this?? |

Make sure that there's a tape cassette in the camera ready for recording, and that you're not in the Green Box (easy recording) program mode. Use either the A, Tv, Av or M program modes.

My cam stays on manual pretty much......but yes you got me. It only makes sense really you need a tape in the set up an interval timer...:) Problem solved..........doh!

The sad thing is that this isn't mentioned in the XL1S owner's manual.
