Traveling with my XL1-S in the US
I'm going to Arizona in a few weeks and would like to take my XL1S with me to shoot some stock footage but I was wondering what the best way to do this would be.
I've got a Canon HC3000 case for it and I'm wondering that if I pack enough foam in it if it will do the job. Everything I'm taking could fit in it. I'm just going to take a mono-pole tripod that fits in my suitcase and no lights. Concerns are of course with all the increased security and the idea that I'd rather take it with me as Carry-On then check it with my other luggage. Any ideas? Should I ship it out there UPS or FedEx? Thanks in advance... |

Don't worry about it Kevin. This will still be a good thread for newbies to this list. You can also try searching on HC3000, pelican (another case manufacturer), or any of a number of other manufacturers.
