rkspiano,
I'm wondering if you have heard back from Canon over the retesting of your XL1s and lens. I think I'm suffering from the same problem but need to do more testing. I have noticed that things look blurry in my NLE but they appear sharp on the Sony TV monitor hooked to the XL1s. This makes it difficult to judge whether to throw out a shot or not if I can't judge that it's correctly focused in my editing software. Perhaps I need a studio monitor as part of my editing suite. e |

MTC Films and rkspiano,
that sounds kind of alarming, since I was considering selling my XL1 to get an XL1S! Maybe I should keep the old XL and add a GL for second cam/B roll/backup/stealthcam, etc.
