Samson Package
Hi All,
I found the following mic set for sale: Samson: AMCU5K Camera Mountable UHF Non-Diversity Micro Combo System with AM1 Receiver, AX1 Plug-In Transmitter, AL1 Presentation Transmitter/Microphone, Samson R-11 Handheld Dynamic and Audio-Technica MT-350 Lavalier Microphones (Channel U5/804.500 MHz) It goes for $400.00 and will be shipped to me in South Africa. Can anyone tell me if it is a good buy? Will it be suitable for documentary/corporate style shooting? What I like about it is that you get two mics in this package. Thanks Guys Jean |

The price (in US$) looks fine, Jean. You'll just need some AAA batteries.
I use a Samson UHF diversity 32 system and have been quite pleased with it. Have fun!

Jean,
Did you find your Samson package online? If so, where? Thanks.
