dc output terminal

No to powering lights or LDC panel. Both lights and LCD panels tend to draw a lot of current (on the order of amps) and tend to use higher voltage. At best you may blow an internal fuse and worst case you could blow an internal voltage regulator chip.

The MA100 (and MA200 no doubt) contains small signal amplifiers that convert unbalancd input to balanced output. It draws a very small amount of +5 volt DC current from the dc output terminal.
