24p
Does the XL1 or XL1s shoot 24p or is only on the XL2?
Thanks |

It can shoot in "frame" mode... not real 24p, but looks good...

Um... I was under the impression that the "frame mode" was introduced with the XL1-s and not available in the original release of the camera (XL1).
The FRAME MODE (on the XL1-s) is a fake 30 progressive frame capture. It still looks very good, but still video-esque. The XL2 shoots true progressive at both 30 and 24. |

Well there we go. But the XL2 is the only one to do 24p. If you have either of the other, you can use Magic Bullet Suite with After Effects to pull out the 24p from the 60i. I think you would have to turn that fake 30p (FRAME MODE) off to use it correctly.
