can anyone supply me with the dimensions of the xl1s with the 16x atuo lens? I need the measurements because i'm trying to build a rail system to work with a bellows and mattebox. Thank you.

Hi Andrew, here is a list of measurements with the stock 16x lens that comes with the camera

1) entire length with hood to furthest point at the back is 39.5 cm
2) without hood entire length is 34.5 cm
3) length of lens with hood to lens bayonet conector is 18 cm
4) length of lens without hood to the lens bayonet conector is 13.5 cm
5) length from lens (without hood) to center of the base plate screw hole is 20.2 cm

if your wondering about the discrepancy between the length with hood to the lens bayonet and without hood its cause the hood bayonet that conects the hood is 5mm. i just measured my xl1s so if you need any other sizes let me know. hope this helps and isn't too confusing =)
