Sleep mode on XL-1
Is there a way to defeat the automatic shut-off? Would like to use the XL-1 for I-mag use on large projection screens in a live "eng" sort of way; no need to record at the camera.
I figured out how to get the screen display crud off but can't for the life of me figure out how to keep the camera on unless it's in record mode.

Leave the tape compartment door open. The XL1s enables the camera to remain on while putting the vcr portion of the camera to sleep. But not the XL1.
