XL1 Problem

Hey guys, my XL1 recently started acting up. The picture is all tinted red and very dark. The image is normal in the viewfinder, but the image viewed through a monitor and captured to tape is red and dark. Anyone have any idea whats going on with my baby?

To be a bit more specific:

When playing (not recording) a tape in the XL1 is the image in the XL1 viewfinder normal?

Is the playback image on the analog outputs (S-video and composite video) normal if sent to a TV/monitor?

Is the firewire capture from the XL1 normal?

Is the analog output normal if the camcorder is used in camera mode?

You must send the camera in to a Canon factory service center for repair.
