"can you hear me now?"

Just hooked up a Sennheiser ew 100 to my XL1S through the MA 100. (wow that even confuses me.) No Audio.

Do I need some special config through Sennheiser?

A different Mic works throught the MA 100 so I know at least it is working?

Many thanks in advance.

Michael,

I had this same problem a couple of weeks ago when I first tried to use my new Evolution series setup. You have to make sure that you've gone into the menu and set up to receive your input for audio 1 as "mic." Then, set audio one on the side of the camera to either manual or automatic.

Should work then.

Besides Audio 1 problem, make sure you have the audio knob cranked up enough on the receiver. That could be one problem. Also check the obivious and make sure both xmitter and recv are on the same frequency.

Cracking the audio on the receiver cought me out. That thing has to be turned up to high before you start to hear anything.

turn it up

Thanks to you all. It was the volume on the receiver. For future users... Sennheiser ships the units with the volume down. It doesn't look that way since the arrow is straight up suggesting you are splitting the difference. You not. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
