microphone boom pole

Please make recommendations for a microphone boom pole.

I will be using a Sennheiser ME66 mike on it doing primarily interviews.

Thanks,

Mark

Check out locationsound.com
or go here for the catalog pdf on boom poles:

It all comes down to budget. You can spend up to a grand
on a carbon fibre 12' pole that weights a pound.
(You can also go to home depot and get a extending paint pole
for under $50 and jury rig it.)

I just bought the Light Wave Systems boom pole with mini-mount and mini-screen. The thing I like about it is that it comes with the cable threaded inside. All you have to do is plug into each end.

I recently rented a Bogen and was not pleased at all it was very flimsy and the locking knobs did not hold well at all.

I have a budget of up to $400 to spend on a pole.

This light wave pole looks good. Does it use XLR connectors on either end?
