Minolta Adapter?
I've read several posts of people getting there hands on Nikon adapters for the Xl1s. Does anyone know of a similar adaptation for a Minolta mount? I've got a 300mm f2.8 lens I'd love to use for video. Perhaps someone knows of a machinist who could rig something up? Anybody?
Thanks, James |

I remember seeing a mount converter a few years ago but it was from Japan. I have no idea where to look for this other than a high end photo store, photo swap meet or trade show. It would let you put your Minolta lenses on other manufacturers cameras (like Canon, Nikon etc.). I have the same lens, it's a beauty but my favorite is the 85f1.4.

Sometimes Optex have Minolta adapters in stock, or you may find one amongst their secondhand list if you keep an eye on it:

Thanks Tony, I've just sent an email to Les Bosher, and I'll keep an eye on the optex site. Really appreciate the help.
