on-camera light kit for xl1s?
Anyone can recommend me a budget and reliable on-camera light kit for xl1s? My budget was very tight, Approximated about USD 300. How about voltage if I purchase thru US, will it be compatible issue with my country voltage in Asia (230 Voltage)?
I thinking of purchase Bescor Bescor Price : $ 234.95 AK7 Dimmer Light and Battery Kit - Consists of: MPL635 Light, MM7XLR Battery, BC500 Charger, Barn Doors or Smith-Victor SV840 Lighting Kit Kit includes SV950 Video Light and BP1-C, 12-volt power pack in a sleek and sturdy black nylon shoulder bag. Includes charger and XLR Plug Connector. Please advice me on this matter My setup Canon Xl1s with MA200

Hi, I have that Bescor light. Not really happy with it because of the color temp changing when you're dimming down (it gets really yellow). I believe the NRG Varalux does a better job, for about the same price. It has a circuit that prevents the color shift.
