OIS Focus
Has anyone noticed an occasional softness when shooting travelling shots with the 16x?
The focus is properly set in manual and everything seems fine but occasionally I notice a bit of softness especially in wide distant shots when moving. It occurred to me that perhaps it is the OIS system trying to compensate for the movement in travelling shots. Anyone else experience this odd phenomenom?? |

The original 16x lense (white) that was standard on the XL1. Not the 16x manual (black) lense nor the newer 16x IS II.

I've moved this thread to the XL1/XL1S lens & optics forum where
it belongs (it came from open dv discussion).

Thanks.
I meant to submit it there but couldn't easily find it. Now I realize it is listed under in the Canon XL1 / XL1S Watchdog title. |
